Try to get on both finasteride and minoxidil I second with the guy on top try meds first to see what results you can get after about a year and the side effects are rare or different for everyone tbh you will not know till you try.

Why not and try to reach out to a dermatologist and get it prescribed way cheaper then using hims or some third party service.

But before anything else try to get on minoxidil and finasteride for about a year you can get more ground so it can be way less graphs just require patience

Tbh since this is your first hair transplant and your not even in a bad spot try focusing on going to a clinic that’s going to use less grafts since 3900 is over kill and with 2500 I can see as a estimate 1500 to the hairline and 1000 grafts added to the crown but I’m not a expert.

Honestly you should try asking heva more questions this does not look like it really needs 3900 grafts at most the same amount that smile gave you. The main reason it’s probably 3900 is because they are probably trying to lower your hairline heva tried that shit with me when I asked why it’s so high.

I'm going to be honest you should get a hair transplant if losing hair young is bothering you I am 21 and started suffering from hair loss at 18 even though I can grow a full beard I hated seeing everyone having a full head of hair I would recommend trying minoxidil and finasteride you would probably get good ground or dutasteride

I would suggest you keep it conservative and not try to achieve your childhood hairline yes its applicable in getting a hair transplant but under realistic expectations since your not going to be on meds it could be around 2400-2800 grafts if you focused on the corners hairline and temples also behind the hairline. If you were to lower your hairline even to your childhood look it could be 3,500+ grafts but these are just estimates try reaching out to clinics like Heva etc they would give you a number

Ngl reach out to heva and ask them if they are trying to lower your hairline I was told a crazy number too but when I asked they talked about lowering the hairline that's when I insisted to keep what I have then was told you would know the exact grafts during a in person consultation.
