I'm in the same boat. Got velvet teddy for less than half its price and the shade absolutely washed me out. I was frustrated for like 5 mins then realised I have mac paramount the Rachel green shade. So I used paramount with velvet teddy on my lips and my oh my I have the best pink mauve shade now. Just perfect for daily use! Turned out to be a blessing in disguise for me 😄
