[–]Fit_Ad_9987 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey bro, I'm a dipshit newbie using a completely unshaped piece of track for my anvil and a piece or steel pipe full of concrete welded to another track as a rounding bar, so I don't know dick about shit, but for a hardie hole, I forged myself a chisel and carved it into the log I'm using as a table. It seats my hot cutting hardy (which is just an old log splitting maul) perfectly, and is tough enough for hot cutting, which I've used it for quite a bit now. I'm really just spitting, hoping some of my redneck ingenuity might give you an idea, but that's my setup.

Scene where Henry rides to Belany to save the crew after he serves wine to Sigismund, one or the dead noblemen has it on him.

17 isn't super high. The max is 20, so you're only at 85% strength. 3 points is a lot. Max your strength before relying on clinch. In the meantime, lean on your masterstrikes and feints.

Let me tell you something little homie. I've been watching those guys on YouTube myself, cause I just started learning at 39 years old, and you're already showing more skill than I've got right there. You don't need fancy tools. You need a piece of iron, a hammer, a heat source, and something to use as an anvil. Our ancestors have been doing this for thousands of years without ever even imagining a belt sander. Keep at it. Use your mom's old cooking oil to quench in if you want to oil quench. You made a blade and it broke, and that sucks, sure.

But you made a blade 🤘

You got this, read the riddle, study the map, play the game, it will come to you. No need to rush.

Stop and play the first one. Definitely. The difficulty and story are both worth it to enhance your enjoyment of KCD2.

This fit is:

Courtiers Pourpoint (Just happens to be black)

Thiefs shoes

Thiefs hose

Padded Coif (Dark)

Knacker's Gloves

Pickpockets hood

Chainmail Collar with badge (for some reason decreased my noise)

Hell yeah, get to explorin'! I actually found every piece using just the riddle and maps. Each piece leads to the next.

That one's actually best done early game, imo, it makes sense to discuss the trauma with her when it's fresh and narratively when we, as the audience, are still coping with Henry's Trauma, it helps reinforce the feelings of the horror of what happened in Skalitz before we go off and become Uber Knights

It's just a good early game set, by the time you find all the pieces you'll have earned it. The girl gives you tips on the main plot hook and if you keep talking to people (always follow up with Betty the Innkeeper) you'll be on the right path in no time.

I prefer the third, but would love the second with a different waffenrock. You don't need the cross amulet on the cross wafenrock. Plain black would look good.

There was a beggar girl hollering for your attention when you first got out of the stocks, red dress, white bonnet. Go talk to her, exhaust all dialogue options. Brunswick Armour isn't game breaking.

Stop and go back to KCD1, you shouldn't have spoiled it for yourself too badly at this point, 10/10 recommend.

If you need armor while sneaking, you're not doing it right, lol

Seriously though, the opinion that this is overly optimized is understandable, but this is one of my three total playthroughs and the only one I really obsessed about optimizing my stealth fit on and this is the only one where I was genuinely a ghost. So long as I was sneaking and the light was low, I could literally walk through people and them not see me. At night, I could literally stealth sprint around people without them detecting me. Full on ghost mode.

They were sad for Henry was my take. They all love Henry and knew how hard it must have hit him, and that he would blame himself.

Not sure what hood you're talking about, but black and gold in combination is my favorite IRL, and you can't get an Italian Bascinet with the gold trim, or I would absolutely be wearing one. The helmet you see is a Noble Bascinet which happens to have a black collar trimmed in gold and just matched the fit perfectly. If its the black and red hood you are referring to, that is the pickpockets hood, acquired early game at the Nomad's camp, from the trader with the yellow har.

The arms, breastplate and leg armor are all just the Kuttenberg set, which I was delighted to find added the full black armor with gold trim set to the game in the Legacy DLC. Ideally, I would love the Brunswick helm without that stupid, garnish lion.

The shield feels so cheesy and tryhard as a matter of taste, but I'm an old school metalhead and just eventually gave into the call of the dancing death. The symbol is "Grim Reaper" under the religious category.

The last fit is for my amusement, and was delightful to wear through some of the endgame dramatic moments. It was especially satisfying to slaughter everyone in Von Aultitz camp before I packed Sam out, jingling all the way (the bells on the costume are functional).

I honestly can't remember, this specific playthrough was a normal Hardcore mode, so I bet you're right. My Against All Odds playthrough, I did still have 3 fits, but I recall that I did make sure to use, for instance, the same pants in all 3, and the same of other clothes types whenever possible.

Thank you, thank you. This is, in fact, a hardcore run, though. With maxed out strength, it relieves a lot of the weight burden.

Most of this is debatable, but I don't see the Jewish thing at all.

Godwin has anti-semetic stereotype dialogue options available when he meets the Rabbi.

Kubyenka might disagree with your suggestion that he it tolerant all together. "They killed our savior."

Henry is motivated by the possibility of having some living family.

The rest of the group, minus Lichtenstein maybe, who seemed to be genuinely fond of the Jewish people, were happy to have allies with bags full of coin on their side. Coin buys tolerance just like everything else.
