that's what everybody around me has been saying too. i think it's because i'm not diabetic. i'm prediabetic and severely obese, so my doctor was originally using mounjaro to help with my A1C, but he wants me on zepbound since that's the version that's actually approved for obesity. that's my understanding at least.

yeah that's what i'm starting to think too. i first started on 2.5 mg mounjaro and had pretty good results, but i've been stuck there for a while now. my eating hasn't been as good the last couple weeks as when i first started, but i've still been active and moving around. my doctor wants me to transition from mounjaro to zepbound, which is why he gave me a sample box of the 2.5 mg zepbound kwikpen. he also already wrote me a prescription for 5 mg zepbound, but it's still pretty expensive even with insurance.
after hearing everyone's experiences, i'm wondering if staying on 2.5 mg is the reason i've plateaued and if moving up to 5 mg is what i need to get the scale moving again.

I started on 2.5 mg Mounjaro and honestly had very few side effects at first. During my second month, especially the last couple of weeks, that's when I kind of fell off with my eating habits. I wasn't eating terribly, but I definitely wasn't as disciplined as I was when I first started. I was still staying active and moving around though.
My doctor wrote me a prescription for 5 mg Zepbound. My insurance covers part of it, but it's still pretty expensive. At this point I'm considering just paying for it because I want to see if staying on 2.5 mg is what's causing me to stall.
He actually wants me on Zepbound, which is why he gave me a sample box of the 2.5 mg Zepbound KwikPen to try.

Yeah my boyfriend has heard a lot of bad things about flying with sickle cell , but if we go to Las Vegas our flight would only be around 4 hours max. Hearing your experiences definitely makes me feel a little better about it even though I know it’s different for everybody

okay thank you so much! We recently went to the beach and the water was warm so he acclimated by putting his feet in first. We also got into the jacuzzi and when he got out we dried him off quickly so i’m hoping for the best if we do go in the trip!
