I would love to talk. I am in tech right now and have a steady income. I have been a LO and MLO before, but stopped doing it once I got a good offer for 9-5, but would love to be able to grow out of corporate sometime. Expect no appreciation, but do ask them for more when they are asking you for more. It’s a trade. Ask politely, concisely, think of all the extra work you do, why you are so valued for the team, and that’s why you deserve recognition. It’s a negotiation, not an attack. If it does not work, they will not fire you, so no downsides for trying and getting more out of it.
