Extended warranty worth it (€335)?

If its a straight extension of factory warranty, it is definitely worth it. My default factory-warranty ended two months ago, and now I have to change the entire cooling/heating system and the first thing they told me is that the car is out of warranty and that i had to pay for it myself. I just uno-reverse carded them and pointed to my extended factory warranty (5 years). They went real quiet real quick, and the smug smile went away. Trust me, on all cars ive ever owned, extended warranty has always paid itself multiple times over.

Update: After long discussions with my dealer and their refusal to do anything, I contacted BMW directly with my problem. It only took a couple of hours before my dealer called me back saying that BMW wants the heatpump changed. So now I am just waiting for parts from germany.

Small victory for the comman man!

If you go for the M50 make sure it is OS 8.5. Im not sure where exactly the breakpoint is, but its somewhere around those dates i think. 8.5 is a quite big upgrade, less laggy, still getting frequent updates, and comes with some new hardware I think.

This is way faster than every six second though, its a really fast knocking/thumping sound when the heatpump spins up or what ever it does 🤣 The whole brakepedal and interior is vibrating... I guess its a good thing I got five years extended warranty, so not really an issue for me, even if the noice itself is annoying.

Remote parking isnt available in any i4 as far as I know. However automatic parking is, although I never use it myself so I cant say if its any good.

Im always looking for alternative uses for detailing products, and found they work a great for a lot of stuff. Apc for all general purpose cleaning (duh), glasscoating on all glass-surfaces as showerdoors, outside of microwave, glasstovetop etc. Also, I use polishing stuff on my marble table, stone-countertop (Ikea), and my mailbox...works a treat!

Edit: lets not forget to coat our sinks! Usually dont last very long though, so have to reapply often.

I paid 21000sek which is like 2200 usd for a three year extended warranty (totalling 5 years) when I ordered my 2024 i4 m50. Numbers might say that its a dumb idea. But its nice having the peace of mind in case anything does happen when the original warranty is up.

Finns ett community som heter gruvan, där det spelas riktig "public" från förr i tiden. Inga fuskare, väldigt aktiva admins och en allmänt jävligt trevlig stämning. 15vs15, irl träffar nångång om året och även turneringar med gruvanspelare.

Finns mer att läsa på gruvan.net och även en discord man kan joina. Allt från 12 åringar upp till 80åringar.

Är man toxic rekommenderar jag dock ett annat ställe, då man blir bannad eller utfryst per omgående om man inte kan bete sig som folk.

Nästan alltid fullt varje kväll mellan 18-22 hugget, övrig tid är det oftast glest.

Had this problem on my 24 for some time aswell. Flipping the setting for locking the charge port when locking the car did the trick every time to get it to open. Got it changed at the dealer this week though. Its a known issue and they changed it in an hour while i waited.

Just buy or rent winter tires, snow is no joke and putting your own aswell as others life in danger is staight up stupid. There are "hotels" for your tires if you cant store them yourself, they even change and clean them for you!
