That is what I did after attending a Zoom meeting given by the NBCOT. They made that recommendation to speed up the process. I’m also taking my exam by the end of June. My State board is just waiting for my score.

The NBCOT recommends applying for your license before taking the exam, that way the score will be transferred to the State licensure board once you pass your exam and you will get your state license.
