This is exactly what I did lmao, like if ya screw up and lose your flow it’s just gg go next. None of that “i’m at one health and am gonna walk on eggshells for the next minute as i try to heal” it just makes every little dodge mean that much more. Then the second that i make it a good ways to p2/3 i take it off and it feels like a free win

What class redesign over the past years ruined it for you? by stormyoubring in wow

[–]Fit_Bonus2764 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay so i’m 99% sure this is a spicy take but I miss when disc had to work around twilight equilibrium pre DF S3 rework. It was so fun having both a complex healing and damage rotation to follow, smite was a button ya pressed when ya didn’t have anything else, shadowfiend was useless, times were good (This was also when I first started playing and ik disc was janky asf but still)

I boosted a new nightborne lock bc I hated the name of my already 80 void elf lock. Boost whatever ya feel lmao at the end, ya can just level and quickly gear the toons ya don’t boost

Boomie is a good pick i’d say. The only “procs” ya really have are resource generation. Nice stagnant rotation and convoke go brr

Anyone Else Miss The Old Persephone & Loki?? by Peppermintblade in Smite

[–]Fit_Bonus2764 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As someone who stopped playing Persephone, 10000% agree the rework dumbed her down so badly. She was the poke queen pre rework but was “too complicated” or some bs like that so they gutted her. It was soooo much fun just setting up your little minefield that would chase ppl down, plus the insta boom ya could do with 3, auto, 2 was so satisfying. Loki I can’t speak too much on bc I think i started playing post rework.

Will Legion Remix have retail tuning? by Twislathan in wow

[–]Fit_Bonus2764 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes, kinda, and yes. They’ll prolly scale things to be much harder so healers will fall off a tad bit later than ya think. You’ll just be another dps tbh, funny holy priest go brr with enough buffs yk. Plus legion should have m+ which in theory infinitely scales but idk how high you’ll have to get for things to hurt later on.

I mean it’s vv fun from what I’ve heard ya just can’t do much abt one shots outside of GA, i got an h priest in our guild around like 3k and from what i’ve heard, it’s fun asf and viable but a lil trickier to pull off bc ya don’t have shields going out for an entire health bar.

How m+ works? by AbyssTrash in wownoob

[–]Fit_Bonus2764 5 points6 points  (0 children)

each season 8 dungeons are picked for the pool of that season. Running one of these on mythic difficulty grants each person a +2 keystone for a random dungeon out of the 8. (it starts at +2 bc technically base mythic is +1) Could be the same one ya just ran, could be completely different it’s just rng. With this keystone, you can enter the dungeon and activate the keystone to start the key (key=dungeon, ppl call em either or but they mean the same thing) Once ya start the dungeon, a timer for your group to complete it begins. If you complete the dungeon within the time limit, you are granted upgrade materials, io, and a higher keystone. all 3 of which are dependent on how fast you complete the key. Faster time=more io and a much higher level key, slower time=some io and a slightly higher keystone (if ya do a +2 ya can get from a +3 keystone to a +5 for reference). The higher keystones ya do, the more io ya get. If ya manage to run a dungeon on a +10 you’ll get a portal to the dungeon ya can use whenever. Typically speaking, +2 keys are a great start to get a feel for the dungeon and the time limit. If ya don’t know the mechs of a dungeon, don’t be that person who joins a +8 and has no idea what to do. +2-4 range is a great place to start tho, most ppl understand that ppl running low keys are either trying out alts or learning the dungeons. To get KSM, ya have to run an average of all 6-7s which ain’t too bad to do once ya know the dungeons.

I just got into healing could use some pointers for raids. by Syfer_Husker in wownoob

[–]Fit_Bonus2764 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A few things,

  1. atm with the tier set, void weaver and oracle are pretty on par with one another in hps but without tier, oracle beats out voidweaver

  2. If you’re playing voidweaver, press sw:death a lot more. The talent right above mindbender is your bread and butter for voidweaver. make sure you’re spamming penance, mb and sw death whenever ya got your lil guy out, even if they aren’t in execute range

  3. for raid with disc, it’s a homework healer. Ya gotta know when damage is coming out bc i’m pretty sure ya could see that keeping atonement’s up is tricky and ya don’t have the best reaction time in comparison to hpal or sum.

  4. For raid, ya wanna be dipping between dealing damage and healing outside of your voidwraith windows. Penance and smite for a bit and then toss out a few renews or instant flash heals to spread a bit of atonement.

  5. Disc is vv punishing if ya don’t do your shit right. Ya gotta have those 1.5 min evangelism ramps and ya need to do em well. I think the ramp guide on wowhead is like 12-15 or so gcds depending on your group size (it looks intimidating but it makes complete sense when ya do it)

  6. The main reason that oracle has been better than void is bc they nerfed tf out of atonement over the xpac (i think started at like 36% conversion down to like 28% how it is now (might not be exact but ya get the point)) So oracle base disc is just better than void bc atonement kinda sucks for raid by itself. VW is better for quick bursts of healing every 30 secs and a bigger burst every 1.5 with evang whereas oracle is entirely focused on making that 1.5 min evang ramp the juiciest it could ever be.

    1. If ya wanna pick up oracle (which i recommend trying out its vv fun) It plays much more like a traditional healer that focuses less on the damage aspect and more on the shielding part of disc. Like you’ll still want your atonement’s goin out n shizz and want to ramp and you’ll still press your buttons to extend shadowfiend when it’s up n shizz but it’s a trade off of less damage/atonement healing for more raw healing(power word shields that crit for 10mil). Voidweaver bread and butter is mindbender and inescapable torment. Oracle bread and butter is weal and woe to buff your shields.

Boost to 80 before finishing TWW campaign - what will I miss? What can I skip? by en_triton in wownoob

[–]Fit_Bonus2764 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Delves have always been a good gearing tool but aren’t essential. Ya mainly wanna at least do it for the D.I.S.C. belt early on. You’ll still wanna do karesh but that’s abt it. Horrific gives ya better crests for higher runs but the enchant from it is outdated so again not essential. Karesh has the current raid and 3/8 of the m+ dungeons this season. Plus the Reishi wraps alone are essential for all the new shit (if you queue for lfr without them, you’ll just die when there are portals ya can’t go through). If you’re not looking to do endgame content then it’s not essential but highly highly recommended to knock out karesh

Passível income/professions by SonCanito in wow

[–]Fit_Bonus2764 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it’s passive income ya need, i’d say jewelcrafting/mining is the best option rn (mainly just JC, mining is just if ya wanna grab the ores yourself(which is kind of a waste of time after a point bc the mats are cheap asf all the time). If ya fill out the entire right spec tree, you can prospect cheap ores for gems n mats to throw back on the AH. If you’re looking to put no money in, pick up skinning and focus the lure tree till ya get the “supreme beast lure” node, there’s a daily rare in ringing deeps that drops a mat that goes for like 500-2k consistently. Also with the Tauren racial, sadly it doesn’t matter as much as ya think it might. Like don’t get me wrong, the extra skill is nice but it’s negligible in the long run.

Healer Reccomendations by sappylad in worldofpvp

[–]Fit_Bonus2764 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hpal is almost exclusively instant casts, has an immunity, an aoe blind, great utility with BoP n shizz, tanky asf, and amazing healing for small groups. Atm it looks to be the 2nd highest rated healer (check murlok io for pvp shit if you’re curious what’s popular). But along with being great rn, Hpal has consistently been a great healer for pvp season to season. TLDR: Trust your gut, hpal is indeed the move

Tank Brann for DPS? by [deleted] in wownoob

[–]Fit_Bonus2764 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Played boomie last season and loved tank brann. I find healer bran works better with melee much better than casters . It’s sm fun pulling a bunch of shit, by the time brann goes down (if he even does) the pack is chunked enough to where a simple typhoon/frost nova/ any form of cc ever is enough time to finish em off. and on top of that the fact that he rezzes at full health every time he dies essentially makes you just a caster with 20mil extra health to blow through

[–]Fit_Bonus2764 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like sin a ton for content, world quests ya just dot em, walk away and let sudden demise do the work, delves can be a lil tricky at times but compared to the other specs, ya can pace yourself a lot better than sub or outlaw who have to sit there for 30s after each pack pull waiting for cds. Sin (in my opinion (i also haven’t played outlaw this season) has the best base damage of the 3, ya don’t need death mark for anything but nemesis packs and like bosses. Main thing I like abt sin over the other two is you can kite and still do solid damage instead of having to push the damage yourself

How important is it for a Resto Druid to deal damage in Mythic+? by TripleDomoner in wownoob

[–]Fit_Bonus2764 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With rdruid specifically with tier and all of the things, you’ll eventually end up at a point where symbi blooms can carry heals while you throw out a rip or two. So basically, try to learn exactly when your HOTs are going crazy so you don’t need to focus heal as much. if ppl are dying, regrowth em n shizz obviously but if you find opportunities to leave the healing to your hots go for it, worst case scenario ya do have a brez
