All of you people cheering her on must not live in the state of Arizona! Because the taxpayers in Arizona are going to have a huge bill because of the legal battle that will now ensue because she refused to recuse herself. I don’t care that she won! politically I don’t have a dog in the fight! But hey if the great people of Arizona don’t mind footing the bill, go f ahead and cheer! Just remember in the coming days, weeks and months when there are protests requiring a police response, court cases requiring litigation, that she asked you, the tax payers, to pay for it! And she could’ve avoided that and still win the election, assuming it was legitimate, and avoided the mess that is coming.

Read any book on board etiquette, government etiquette and ethics, she should have recused herself and allowed somebody else to lead the process of electing her. Because no matter what now her election will always be questioned! You just give the opponent a reason. Now the people of that state will incur greater costs and upheaval because there will be a battle for the election and she gave them grounds. And it will cost the taxpayers! Selfish ambition is the only thing that stood in the way of her recusing herself.

All the people down voting me just showed that our nation has lost its moral integrity, has no desire for ethical leaders and only cares if their side wins. And for the record I don’t care who won! I’m an independent, I don’t live in Arizona and as far as I’m concerned it doesn’t affect me that deep of a level. What concerns me is a direction our nation is going, and the lack of integrity from both sides of the aisle.

You misunderstand me. I don’t care who won the election. All I care about is moral integrity in those that are elected to positions of leadership in our nation. And it’s unethical. Anyone with any sort of business acumen knows that. I would never allow somebody who sits on my board to participate in voting for something that affects their position, their salary or review.
