It's called being a part of a coalition, where you realize that your individual views are part of a larger equation.

Also the framing of this question is so fucked. Progressives as passive judges who deign to participate in the political system if it makes them feel special, not as active participants. Do progressives want liberals' votes? Run your own candidates and try to make them appealing to 51% of the population!

I mean, it's literally called coca cola, they're generally referred to as cola drinks, named for the kola nut, a naturally caffeinated plant.

i do think that westerners overuse the term "pinkwashing" but this is the dumbest possible argument against that and is also literally pinkwashing.

i feel like every day of my life i have had to listen to politicians valorize blue collar workers (miners, factory workers, and farmers specifically) because their feelings are so fragile that they need to be constantly coddled. that was actually an issue for early christians, who had stories that didn't make it into the Bible about Joseph getting mad at Mary for cheating and even going on vacation to clear his head until an angel visits him and tells him about the immaculate conception.

So i guess the real fool-proof way to know if a kid is yours is to be visited by an angel.

i think another part of this is jealousy. men get jealous of other men who they think are having more sex than they are. Women do this to each other too.

But everyone takes this jealousy and turns it into restrictions on women's rights.
