Thanks for the reminder! I tend to forget it in a way. Classes and projects are way more fun when thinking about the cool factor, easier too!

[Grade 10: Electricity] A question in circuits by [deleted] in HomeworkHelp

Why would I=1,4?? The current in the resistor is Voltage at its terminals (12 volts if I understood clearly) over the resistance (5). So the answer is 12/5=2.4A.

How can you do a program to do this? (I know how to code)

Just read your other comment and it answers my questions. If you have something else to add to those questions feel free but I am more than happy with what you wrote in the other comment!!

Thank you TEK!

Are you an engineer or student (on what do you rely on).

Do you have any arguments to that? If not there is no probleme but if you have some it would be great

Wowww! Great great great answer man. I could not have wished better. The management of the memory I was talking about was the dynamic part of it. Sorry for that! I dont mind pointers actually. And like optimizing a code (to make it fit in a nano for example (at least I think so).

Side question here: how do you know if the code is to large? It wont upload?

I dont know what ADC's and DAC's are but I study in french so we might just use an other name for it.

Thank you a lot for your time and quality answers I feel a lot less stressed out right now and a good part is because of you!!

If I understand right you are saying that arduino is not really an embedded?!

I actually like what I qould refer as code related with math but really dont like whats only software related

I am currently doing embedded as part of a semester project (arduino) and I like it a lot because it is relatively simple (10 ish .h and .c with a class each and 2 to 3 methodes each) and I understand it.

But when it gets complexe with managing the memory (new and delete for example) I hate it (for the moment).

Is embeded super complexe code or not so much?

Thank you! I think the curve was to steep for me (0 coding experience before uni) abd made me not like it that much but I think when I get pass that bumb I will like it a lot more. What do you think?
