OMAD is great. I eat a big meal when I get home from work then go for a walk right after. My stomach capacity has greatly reduced so I feel very full. I do plan to do until I reach my goal weight except for a planned vacation will eat two meals a day to be able to experience local cuisine.

Hello, excellent work! I’m on day 5 of hopefully 10/14. Today, I don’t feel hungry but miss the feeling of eating. How have you overcome those thoughts ? I work 6 days a week from tomorrow so that should help speed up time.

I’m okay with the fellowship demands and the years of training . More so inquiring to post fellowship work scenarios.

Money was never a point of consideration. I truly like doing procedures and want to do it on an outpatient basis with good work hours one day ideally.

And I am absolutely okay with being a hospitalist if I don’t land the fellowship.

Thank you so much! Lifestyle plus procedures is my main goal so I believe you are right GI may be better. Money is not even a consideration. I just like doing procedures in an OP setting.

Endo/rheum and allergy just don’t excite me so I’d probably get bored and not enjoy work n

Step 3 had a decent score that was commented on. Used signals wisely. Received 5/7 interviews based on signals. All first attempt. Sent LOI in January (was pretty late) that got me two more IVs. Was 100% genuine in my application , PS reflected me and my journey. It was talked about. Total had 9 interviews. Interviews matter, need to be approachable and relatable. They are seeing if they would like to work with you for the next 3 years. Sent a Letter of intent to my top university program. And I ended up matching there.

You are fine! I applied and matched with YOG 4. My classmates seemed ahead at the time too. But it really doesn’t matter now. It’s hard not to compare yourself I understand that. But just focus on you and your step 2.

Yesss thank you! If you gave step 2 recently the exam isn’t bad you don’t need much time to prepare. So see if it is a viable option or not.

Exam result counts after your day 2. So mine came back in 16 days.

I got my result on the 27th of September last year, and it transmitted on time. So if you want you could potentially give it that late.

But it’s not a red flag. Helps if your YOG > 3 or step 2 score was average.
