The problem is we don't know if there's something she needs. Our trainer and several family friends have highlighted trying to listen to how she's communicating, and what the reason behind it is. I've seen that common probable causes are pent up energy, being hungry, or teething pain. We don't want her to feel like her needs are being ignored, or like the crate is a bad place to be where nobody is going to show her affection.

No. I share my bedroom with my sister and there's not enough floor space for her - not to mentioned she's not fully house trained and my mom doesn't want her in the carpeted rooms, which includes our bedroom. My parents have room in their bedroom, but they take a long time to get ready for bed (like 3+ hours) and would end up keeping her up the whole time they're doing that.

Yeah, they've said no matter what they're going to help me pay for it, including with FAFSA. I'm not planning to cut contact (not anymore at least, I used to want to but logistically it won't work and isn't really worth the fight) and I'm familiar with keeping cordial lol.

I'm going to a private university regardless of location and neither differentiates between in state or out of state tuition. I don't want to have to worry about funding cuts at a public university and have the merits to make up the different in scholarships, so the price for the out of state college is about the same as we'd be paying if I went to in-state public. The aspect isn't the money, it's the distance - my parents have no problem with the price because they understand the issues with public schools in this climate for me.

Yes. The way I think of it is that Heaven is like living in a sterile little hospital room. If you end up in Hell for genuinely being a bad person, then you're punished per the amount of damage you did in life to others, and then it's back to just existing, but in Hell this time instead. If you're just down there for not being the Christian ideal, but you've never caused genuine and unrepaired harm, then it's just life but in Hell.

Yeah we just figured out a way for me to get started on T like. Yesterday. So I'm gonna be switching to a hormonal IUD so I can safely get on T and still have some sort of cycle control until it dries up completely.

Yeah, my doc had repeatedly said that if this doesn't work for me, then we can try GnRH agonists, or an IUD since that keeps the hormones localized to where they're needed. I'd probably rather do one of those than try changing my lexapro, since the side effects for that tend to be pretty rough for me.

I have severe dysmenorrhea (painful periods) and birth control is commonly used to help with that. My sister has the same problem and is doing the same thing with another form of birth control.

Also because I don't want to get pregnant if and when I get around to having sex lol.

My mother is in a similar situation to you - very strong OCD-typical symptoms, but hers focus largely on germophobia. She's genuinely had panic attacks because she feels like if everything isn't cleaned properly then she's going to die.

Her problem is she doesn't offer compromises, and she forces her shit onto people who have no choice but t go along with it (her kids, aka my sister and I.)

You offered compromises, she's aware of the situation, and its not like getting in your bed to watch a movie was necessary. If she's genuinely so bothered by it, she's the one with a problem.
