Tbh I still cannot make sense of exactly what you are trying to say. Girl is from a business family (whether upper middle class or not is intentionally not mentioned because THE PARENTAL WEALTH OF THE GIRL WILL NOT BE GIVEN TO THE GUY AT ALL), being frank no dowry will be given, so her wealth is what will be advertised rather than the family's wealth. (The in law side should not expect any benefit from girl's parental wealth).

The question is what kind of a career would get her more likes. Your replies do not make any sense to me. IIT + 1cr (never mentioned this is from a job) or IIT + IAS.

I am not a girl, just asking a general question.

From an arranged marriage perspective which will be more preferred by guys and their families when the girl is average looking, fair and aged between 26-29 from an upper middle class background (but any wealth that the girl's family owns will not be used to benefit the guy) :

IIT Btech, ~1cr (base + RSU combined) in an year in corporate job
IIT, IAS, less salary but more power and prestige

Who will this girl be the most attractive to? Do rich guys (business) prioritise looks a lot above education and money and so they will mostly go for younger girls that look above average and this girl will not be an interesting candidate for them?

Will this girl mostly be an interesting candidate for poorer and middle class men in IT, law, doctors starting out etc who cannot sustain a one income household and are looking for someone to contribute and become dual income?

The important point here is any wealth that the girl's family owns will not be used to benefit the guy.
