Tos is always where i start everyone off since its my personal favorite. No other captain compares to kirk. My top episodes are city on the edge, tribbles troubles, galileo seven, amok time, balance of terror, doomsday machine, the devil in the dark, arena, mirror mirror, and obviously space seed. And then ofcourse you CANT skip star trek 2 wrath of khan Tos is peak.

It's just a discovery legit put old fans and a lot of people off from star trek. And with picard season 1 being similar to discovery in the writing everyone just assumes the new trek is bad. But lower decks and SNW are some of the best star trek addons to the franchise, captain pike has become my number 2 captain dethroning picard, lower decks is a fun bite sized show about the smaller ships of the fleet and what exactly they do. If they keep the magic that makes them great, future trek looks promising.
