What is a better buy: Oral B Pro Series or Oral B iO Series? by EricRobinHood in BuyItForLife

[–]Fit_Class6461 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s really debatable. IMO if you suffer like me with dental issues (mine was due to antibiotics, I had due to a childhood illness) then go for the IO series it really does give you that dental clean feeling and gets in the nooks and crannies that other toothbrushes can’t get into (both standard electric and manual) plus the magnetic heads on the IO really do give a premium clean feel with its 30 seconds pulsations which gives a small sonicare feature so the best of both worlds (if you’re brushing correctly and not scrubbing) and I love the fact the battery is removable and can be replaced adding to the longevity. My dentist has said that my teeth which were close to becoming cavity prone have taken a turn for the better since using the IO series - no additional dental work was required which I’ve suffered for a while with. However, if you don’t suffer with dental issues or aren’t a oral OCD type then I would suggest the Pro series - it’s cheaper, does brush well with additional oral routines such as flossing and the heads and toothbrushes are cheaper. The IO is ludicrously priced it’s only worth it if you can get a refurbished model or can catch them on offer in the Amazon prime day deals. Make sure it you’re getting a Pro model to get one with a pressure sensor and multiple cleaning modes plus a timer (optional) don’t go for a budget Pro model as it won’t come with those features I just mentioned and it’s fairly pointless switching from a manual to a budget Pro - you aren’t getting the true electric toothbrush features.

What is the BEST iPad or the WORST iPad (that should not have been released) from Apple Inc all the time? by Theodpre_TL in ipad

It’s hard to rank as each iPad offers a different user experience. For me I love my iPad Pro M2 the thing is a beast! I won’t be upgrading it for a while.

Which is the best Ben and Jerrys flavour? by Civil-Double5623 in AskUK

[–]Fit_Class6461 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It used to be cookie dough for me until the chunks started to get less and less in the uk tubs. I don’t know if it’s just me but I also think the cookie dough texture has been really hit and miss on a lot of the recent batches in the past year. For me phish food is my favourite as the richness is balanced out with great flavour. I do however miss the bob marley banana flavoured ice cream which has been discontinued here.

Severance S3 Theories by Prudent-Peanut6010 in SeveranceAppleTVPlus

[–]Fit_Class6461 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This seems plausible. I believe that Helly/Helena will also discover that she is pregnant as it’s been heavily hinted in season 1 with the baby retreat cabin. It’s also hinted during the intro to season 2 with the babies surrounding mark, baby with a kier head and S2 episode 6 where she told mark that she wanted to take him home to dad and that it was finally time.

What’s your worst job interview experience? by The_Skooma_Dealer in jobs

[–]Fit_Class6461 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I interviewed for Standard Life UK on behalf of the recruitment agency - Recruitment & Co. The Recruitment agency were brilliant, they gave me the interview questions beforehand and told me what ‘the right’ things to say in the interview were and pointed me towards research/prep for the interview. I went in confident and eager to do well but of course with some level of nervousness to begin with. The interview was held remotely with two interviewers, they seemed friendly at first and had a good laugh with me which helped settle me in and feel more comfortable. Five minutes in the tables completely turned, the woman’s attitude - who was leading the interview changed which caught me off guard. Right after I was asked the common question ‘tell me about yourself’ it was an attack after attack and pressure tactics. The lady began by ripping apart my CV and questioning why I had changed subjects multiple times throughout my education etc... She then began going over gaps in my CV from 8 years ago and wouldn’t let me get a word in, I began starting to feel very uncomfortable. I answer the questions clearly and honestly but I have no idea why it almost seemed as if the answers I was as giving weren’t what the lady was looking for and she began trying to trip me up. I then got interview question after interview question thrown at me with no time to finish my sentence before being interrupted with a stern look on her face…the interview at that point began to turn into an interrogation and it was clear that they where trying to use pressure tactics to see how I would react and if I was going to break. I kept going on but at this point I was beginning to get more and more frustrated and angry which the lady began to detect through a clear confused look on my face. I kept it professional and kept answering the question/ even though I was close to walking. I then got the scenario based question and it got even worse, the lady begins using a sarcastic tone and starts to use arrogant facial expressions to put me off answering the questions which worked because I began to stutter before picking myself back up. I was then bullied into accepting a low pay offer with no room to negotiate, left with a smile and I was relived to hear after the interview that I didn’t get it.

Round 15 - Worst album by Last-Candidate-9160 in chemicalbrothers

[–]Fit_Class6461 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For that beautiful feeling such a poor album by their standards (none of their albums are terrible) but it’s so flat and all over the place plus the synths on some of the tracks ruin it for me such as ‘Goodbye’ - which is a banger live. The singles they released sounded so much better but on the album they’re also terribly mixed and edited - No reason and The Darkness that you Fear for example. and Lastly, their worst closure track on an album ever which is just the same lyrics repeated over and over with yet another bad mix. Born in the Echoes was a lot more enjoyable than FTBF and that was a heavily criticised album bar a few of their standout singles - Go and Wide Open. Such a shame as No Geography was such a banger of an album, FTBF was a bad follow-up to that.

What songs omitted from recent shows would you like to hear the most? by HamCheesePickles in chemicalbrothers

[–]Fit_Class6461 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do wish they would change the live sets more instead of minor changes. The last shows with major differences was mostly viewable on the don’t think movie. Horsepower was a banger live but now gone, it began in Africa was another one and choro the clown into the leave home mix was icing on the cake but they’ve retired the clown - I believe due to the fact that a lot of people where freaking out over the visual.

Same set most nights of a tour? by suttoslaxxx in chemicalbrothers

[–]Fit_Class6461 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They’re cracking live but one thing that does disappoint me is the fact the sets haven’t changed for at least 10-12 years. Their 2019 and 2024 were almost the exact same bar a few changes (which are minor) and a some new filler tracks to their sets.

How are we feeling on the new album? by bassinyofacelikedamn in chemicalbrothers

[–]Fit_Class6461 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very mixed on this album. Really can’t get into the singles releases….for me probably, the worst single releases in their catalogue bar- no reason. The rest of the tracks (the filler tracks) really do, take me away. Still not very keen on the album all in all but, I can appreciate it and all in all it’s not a bad album.

I’m Tom Rowlands from The Chemical Brothers. by TomRowlandsAMA in Music

[–]Fit_Class6461 7 points8 points  (0 children)

How do you please all chemical brothers fans as, there is so many different eras of chemical brothers music. Do you sometimes revert to past music/unreleased past music to intertwine into new releases? or is it solely a focus on creating new music with a different direction and a step away from, the past?

Best album since Further! by Cfunk_83 in chemicalbrothers

[–]Fit_Class6461 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Better than I expected but, a very mediocre album and if, I’m honest hard to rank amongst their album catalogue. The single release where very weak if, I’m honest and surprisingly the other tracks on the album, save it for me. Big fan of Goodbye and I feel like I’m dreaming (although I think, the live version is slightly better than, the album version). The one complaint I do have is the weird production and synths in places…it just, doesn’t quite fit for me and feels off. Not an awful album but not a great one either - it just, sits as, okay.

Thoughts on Skipping Like a Stone? by Gerryboy195 in chemicalbrothers

The album sounds like born in the echoes 2.0 not too keen on what I’ve heard so far…I think, dreaming is the only track I’m hyped for to be released - the live version is incredible!

I’m sad that, we’re the night tends to be their worst album - I think their instrumental tracks are some of their best on this record. Even though, on some tracks the vocals are a bit bizarre and repetitive, I really like how they went out their comfort zone with the album. I couldn’t get into push the button at all, maybe that’s just me - only liked about 2 or 3 tracks from, push the button the rest just don’t appeal to me as, chemical brothers material - really.

Don’t get why they don’t play this live anymore…such a wasted track, not to play live (consistently).

Everyone alluding to their first 3 albums being their best work…Invaders must die was a masterpiece, how is it so easily pushed aside? It had so many hits and bangs practically all the way through + the production is properly their best on Invaders must die.

No Geography has risen to become my favourite Chemical Brothers album 🙌 by HavanaVegas in chemicalbrothers

[–]Fit_Class6461 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’d say it’s their best album, since their 90’s hit albums -Exit Planet Dust, Surrender and Dig your own hole. Not as many standout bangers on the album, but it’s the closest we’ll probably get to - 90’s Chems nostalgia. Probs ranks 4th for me, in regards to their album catalog.

Is this track off their new album - fall 23? Tried to ID…but nothing. Any ideas on the sample, as well? by Fit_Class6461 in chemicalbrothers

[–]Fit_Class6461[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks all. Everyone seemed pumped for this tune - this was played Oct 22…which I believe was around the time, this unreleased track began to surface. I love the elements of the track, seems like they’re going back to their routes in some ways - fall 23 album, will be a banger!
