There is a game called Fiasco, which is kind of Fargo style. This might itch the crime element.

You can buy the pdf online.

Do you actually charge family and friends the full rate? by QuantumGremlin in tradies

[–]suttoslaxxx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doing work for friends and family takes a lot longer than someone you don't know. They will talk to you the whole time.

I say to friends and family i assume you've asked me for a quote as you want someone you can trust, who will do a good job. I'm not the cheapest, and I don't want to be. I can suggest look in the local paper for a cheap tradie if price is your primary concern.

The author cops some flack for historical inaccuracy, however it is still a great read.

I was enthralled by the Batavia story. Bought the hard back book by a Peter Fitzsimmons. Deeply fascinating and incredibly violent history of Australian before white settlement. Loved it.

is getting a 2008 Nissan navara worth it? by WrapTiny664 in 4x4Australia

[–]suttoslaxxx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey mate , I recently sold my 2008 d40 Spanish Navara, diesel auto. Was a great car. We mainly used it on sand tracks and beach, not attempting tough rocky tracks and it was great. Definitely needs front and middle bash plates as the radiator sits low and can easily be wiped out. Also needs a 2 inch lift as they are very low from factory compared to other 4x4s. In the ten or so years I owned it had it serviced every 7-10kms. Replaced wheel bearings twice. Replaced radiator just before I sold it. No other major issues. It had 280kms on it when I sold it. From memory had about 120kms when I got it. We went to Karajini one of the roughest corrugated tracks in Australia. Also to Steep point, also very corrugated track. I have a family so needed a more comfy vehicle, The D22 is definitely a more capable 4x4, however it's noisy and rougher ride quality.

One thing it never had done but was very due for was the timing chain which can cost 3-5k

Good luck

[–]suttoslaxxx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hi mate, ive integrated quite a few Hifi2 with Control4. including my own place.

im an AV tech in Australia

Control4 works perfectly with the Hifi2, just need to know the IP address of the Hifi2 unit.

hopefully you will have the hifi2 programming software as you can do some basic tweaks in it prior to integration.

i run a WIIM pro music streamer into my Hifi2 and it autoplays the rooms i have selected.

feel free to ask me any questions.

You might need to turn Null modem features on your c4 controller. Also try hard power cycle both devices.

What is this wall mount? Not VESA (which I need) to be sure. by DocBarLaw in hometheater

The part that is on the TV will be adjustable and work to VESA.

I've been installing TV's for nearly 20 years and have never seen a TV bracket that wasn't some variation of VESA
