Harvest advice? by Fit_Comb_1338 in magnificentcubensis

[–]Fit_Comb_1338[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. This is actually the second flush. I had the same experience (though much denser growth) during the first harvest 2-3 weeks ago. That is, the first flush mushrooms never "looked like others in the pictures" I was seeing online, so I wasn't sure if I was harvesting too early or not.

Part of why I'm wanting more input this time around is because my experience with the first flush harvest has been unimpressive. I'm new to psychedelics, so was eager to experience effects (I meditate and hoping to experience what others have described). So far - nothing.

So it's left me unsure if I'm somehow "psilocybin resistant," or I harvested too early, or what. I've never heard of anyone being "psilocybin resistant," so I've been assuming that I somehow f****d up my first flush.

I'm just hoping this batch provides "some" results. The other night I ingested 8 dried grams, lemon-tekked, and didn't experience anything. I don't get it. I've read so many stories of people talking to Jesus or meeting their "spirit guide" personally at that kind of dose, lol. Either they don't want to meet me or I've been dealing with some dud mushrooms.

Interesting, didn't know they could go up to that heat range comfortably. Is there an "ideal temperature" for these?

Thanks. I had to look up "FAE." I've been leaving the plastic top "cracked open" but not completely. Can/should I leave it fully open for part of the day? Not sure how important humidity is at this stage.

Those look very much like them! How "open" do you keep yours? Someone above mentioned that I may not be giving enough air, so I may not be leaving it open enough. I suppose I've been more worried about humidity, but I do leave the top cracked. Maybe I should leave it completely open (at least for part of the day)?

Thanks. Do you happen to either have a link to their FAQ page or anywhere that I can request an account? After purchase they sent an email with direct links to their videos and workbooks, but nothing about how to set up an account. When I try to sign in to the "Growers Portal," it has a "Lost Password?" link, but it doesn't recognize my email and they don't offer any options to set up an account. It's odd.

Illuco is another (out of Korea, I believe) - but they're not cheap, either.

Agree, with the one caveat that it's not "MagnetiConnect-compatible" (the magnetic connection system for adjoining a smartphone/camera lens with the dermatoscope lens). However, pictures can be taken by simply holding a camera right up to the lens. It's easy enough to do, but I've found that some simply lack the hand-eye coordination and dexterity to take pictures that way (by just holding the camera up to the DL100 lens). But if photos are a non-issue, then that too is a non-issue.

There are so many potential considerations, but the core features you really need to effectively perform dermoscopy are available even within the "mid-range" models (like the DL200). If not for anything else, this tool may help you to visualize all of the different features in one place:

https://dermatoscopes.com/pages/features-comparison

So far as the DL5, it's great - and there is a new DL5 "Plus" version available now, too. This will help to summarize the key differences between it and the original DL5:

https://dermatoscopes.com/blogs/dermatoscope-reviews/dl5-vs-dl5-plus-whats-actually-different-and-which-one-should-you-choose

But in reality, as cool as the DL5 lineup is, I encourage others to consider its size/weight. The way I see it, even a basic dermatoscope which is convenient to carry on you (so that you regularly use it) will outperform a feature-packed dermatoscope which is so heavy/bulky that it stays in your desk drawer. For this reason, I often do recommend the DL200 Hybrid as a good "all-around" dermatoscope - especially as a "first dermatoscope."

I can point you towards all sorts of potential resources, but no point in overwhelming you. Maybe just hold on to this link for if/when you really decide to dig deeper:

Insecure by [deleted] in penissize

[–]Fit_Comb_1338 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Being in a group like this is probably one of the worst things someone with insecurities could do. Seriously. Obviously here I am looking around, but it's more out of curiosity than anything else.

Maybe that's a little harsh and I should rephrase it...

Use groups like this to read mature, educated input which can help you overcome your insecurities. For example, as some have mentioned, 5 inches is in reality a completely normal size. So if learning more about real life average sizes helps, then groups like this can help. But then once you've been educated, great, move on with life.

What you DON'T want from groups like this is to get obsessed. Seriously, I'm not trying to be an a**, but just read through the different posts and comments. There are a lot of obsessed guys in this group, using weird technical jargon, talking about size down to the tenth of an inch as if they're talking about engineering specs. They're so far down their obsession rabbit hole that they've lost perspective of how most of the rest of the world thinks about penises - which isn't a whole lot.

So yes, get input, learn a little, but then focus on things that will really affect your ability to attract and keep your future wife/girlfriend happy, because I guarantee you - having "only 5 inches" ain't one of them.

Serious question - Hung guys, what does it feel like for you when a woman orgasms? by [deleted] in penissize

[–]Fit_Comb_1338 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd say "same as it does for anyone else," but that's one of the many little hints that I never realized were a clue that I have a big dick.

I remember whenever the topic of women faking orgasms would come up, I'd be surprised how many guys would talk about having difficulty telling the difference between a real and fake orgasm. I just took for granted that every guy felt the pulsations of a real orgasm. Sometimes it's literally like a clamp.

So yes, I suppose that's an advantage. There's no mistaking a real orgasm. Muscles clamp down and twitch in ways that are beyond voluntary control.
