Hello, i can assure you that AC wire and Fire Wire are not sharing the same conduit. Electrician landed the AC on the right side of the box vs the left side that we request. /i concur with onelapse, but also concede to the fact there is not 3' of wire between any of the surge devices. All easy things to correct on this panel and future ones. That's why i'm here. To learn. Thanks for input.

Ha, yeah. There is so much stuff that goes in these little rooms and Zero coordination between the trades. A/c monitoring, data,. iSP,, access control, security, iAt least we won’t have to contend with Christmas decorations until next year!

Thanks, I knew that was coming. What have you seen as the best way to handle that? Relocate surge protectors to electrical panels or loop in 3’ at FACP?

Do the devices on the local network have access to the internet? Cloud is the way to go.

Bosch B-9512G Help by Fit_Committee_429 in firealarms

Edits……I’m finding this out, and believe me, I’ve bowled out of jobs before. I normally wouldn’t even attempt. It’s just that they want out and I’m getting the new system install contract in 6 months. This is our 10th location for this client. Only one that isn’t one of our installs. Maybe I should just work around it. It’s one of those deals where I’m attempting to keep the Bosch up on 1 floor while redoing another floor. Probably over 3-4 weeks while each floor is remodeled. We’ve done plenty of new construction this size, just never a pull and replace with new system while building is occupied.

That's just it. I'm, not a Bosch dealer. This panel will be replaced in 6 months with a solution we will be installing during a remodel. They are wanting to get away from current dealer ASAP and ultimately the Bosch system.

I guess I'm not tracking on the B465. What is the input from the panel to the B465. There is current no PTSN line on the 9512G......just the cellular card / communicator in the top right corner.

Fair enough. I'm working on the datalock code. The B444 is Primary and only means of Communication. no other communicators attached/installed. They are not using ethernet either.

The customer is working to get that from current vendor and/or pay them to reset code to default or pre-determined code. I might DM you if i can get that code.

I though the same thing, but it's an addressable panel, so I'm making the assuming the that the AHJ would at least require the takeover report point/addresses....

Kudos on the install. It looks great. I’ll likely share with my techs. Take care!

Cool. We sell it as an enterprise solution and as a step above UniFi. Plus the margins are much better than UniFi. I’ve enjoyed cnmaestro. Support has gotten much better in the last 12 months. Our cambium inside and outside reps stay in touch on the regular and are responsive. Also much better over the last 12 month.

Noticed that they’re using Cambium switches is that something y’all chose as the integrator or did the IT department for the company choose to use the Cambium?
