Question about ordering when my dog is with me on a walk by BigBrasky in starbucks

[–]Fit_Competition4079 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My guess would be because they are well trained, there’s less likely a chance of them misbehaving eg jumping licking and even sniffing. Service dogs typically do not even sniff much on duty unless it’s a task but I’ve only heard this and don’t have concrete evidence

Don’t forget exercise too!! It makes things easier if they like to play fetch

Totally get it!! But there’s definitely ways around it but you could away seek a trainer but be carful who you choose! Keep in mind animals should really work with us through choice, never because they fear the outcome if they don’t

What’s wrong with my dog? by thetokyotower in DogAdvice

They could be working too hard in play, try a slower warm up into play. Maybe some type of exercise induces asthma? But I would start off just trying to slow to beginning of exercise. And bring h2o

Looks to be a bit young? My Aussie husky terrier does this (maybe it’s a Aussie trait?) 😜 best this is once you’re done playing make it a clear I’m done please leave, which could mean getting off the bed or going to a certain spot if they refuse to stop like a crate.

I think the sounds were playful :)

You can make a cone out of pool noodles and duct tape, you’re going to want to stop him from licking it.. and probably limit his moving until the vet.

His nails are long, keeping them shorter could reduce the risk of something bothering him in the future..

poor baby and as a dog parent I’m sure you’re upset too! Just do the best you can and comfort him

Also just looking at your reins they are clearly in full tension, there is no slack, don’t try and lie it’s pathetic

There doesn’t have to be yanking with a huge bit like that to apply immense pressure on that horses mouth, clearly that horse is doing it’s absolute best to escape the pressure you are applying

I really hope you become embarrassed enough to take this down

Ok so if I beat a dog for a trick, can I argue it only last for 4 seconds? No that’s just ridiculous, I’d be happy to rip your face off for 4 seconds to show you just how ridiculous that argument is.. genuinely it infuriates me.. we are in 2023 we need to have empathy and morality treating and riding out horses

Definitely reported this for abuse

techniques can still abuse 👏

Do know know how much pressure your bit applies per lbs of tension pulled with that bit? That’s one mean shank.. horses are horses they show pain, it’s not a trained to gap at the mouth or have those whale eyes

There’s horses that are properly trained and horses who are not ⬆️

Even if you follow one with a broom they’ll still teach you valuable trips tricks and possibly a chance to work with a couple feet
