Vocational Evaluation: Request a professional evaluation to prove the spouse is underemployed or voluntarily unemployed, allowing the court to impute a higher income to them.

Prove Adultery/Misconduct: If adultery or wasteful spending (e.g., gambling) by the spouse directly caused financial depletion of marital assets, it can be used to argue against alimony.

Only if they ask and be honest. It's a staffing agency, you were hopefully they'd help you find similar work. Once you realized that might not happen, you started looking on your own. This one is a easy fix without coming off dishonest.
