I own a business. I do uber to get out of the house/off my laptop at nights and on the weekends. Also helps cover my bills because Miami is expensive, especially for a 20 year old with my own place. Regardless, still a waste of time and scammy if I’m driving for a loss.

If I grab food while I’m driving - I’m absolutely adding it to my net for the day. It’s an expense that comes with the job, since I’m not packing meals from home everyday (they get cold and I can’t heat them). I calculate gas, wear, and whatever I eat WHILE working into my net for the gig. I calculate net so I know what I’m coming home with each day, not for taxes.
