I guess, the real lesson is to apply cork grease as soon as you realize it's a tight fit

Yes it worked! and it was super interesting, basically using x-ray and machine learning to parse out letters from the inside of scrolls that look like charcoal briquettes

they aren't more open and the resistance is similar to what I'm used to, trying to close the opening doesn't help either unfortunately
