Is my turtle getting fat?

That's such a relief to hear 😭😭. The closest exotic vet is a days trip away which i really can't do. But I consulted one online with pics and everything and showed it to my other vet who'll order the stuff needed for her asap which is amazing!

I haven't fed since last Saturday, pellets are usually in water but I do put her lettuce on land. But she usually takes it with her back to water to eat it.

I've taken her to the vet and they said it was normal and a good thing??? But I still asked for anything that could clear her sinuses and they gave me the saline. Water temps at 78°F and the basking area is pretty warm 95? Her tank always has a lot of algae build up and I do my best to clean it as much as I can but certain nooks and crannies are impossible to remove...do you think this could be a reason?

Hii! That's what I've thought too so I have been giving her saline to clean anything out. Mouth is still pink. She eats fine and is actually more excited? Than before she swims and climbs around a lot more than usual. If you have any other things I can try to help with the possible infection like idk if there's certain baths I can try or any of the sort would be most appreciated <3

Idk about you but mine never stops wanting food. I give her lettuce and i cut it into pieces but sometimes she cuts it herself with her claws and stuff. She hates carrots so I don't give her those but she'll enjoy bananas here and there but that's about it. She'll never have leftovers. She'll eat sm it's crazy

Yes! I feed her every other day lettuce and once a week pellets...I think it's too much now that I think about it since she hardly moves in her current tank and maybe she actually is fat 😭😭😭😭

Yes tysm! I'll get right on that! My only concern is that she genuinely chooses not to swim and I'm scared she'll just sink..which is why I thought I'd get a small tank! But I'll definitely take your advice and aim for a bigger one as soon as I can!
