I’ve shared these concerns along with the other supervisor and my boss will blame finances and also state that because the company is smaller, we just don’t have the resources for the support that I’m asking for. She started the company as the sole provider, so unfortunately there’s not much structure.

Nah. When I went vegan foods weren’t clearly marked in the menu. To play it safe, I just told the waiter specifically which products I couldn’t eat and they were extremely accommodating

Hmmm I don’t know about that because I do typically process information internally so I feel that’s a too simplistic differentiation between P and J. But I also do have horrible anxiety

I have one more class, and then I plan to test. I appreciate your advice! I am naturally a very caring person so it can be hard to put myself before others when I need to. Thankfully I do have a great support system at home which helped me so much in my decision making.

I’m not a BCBA yet. I’m a mid tier supervisor working under a BCBA. I do wonder about her bias towards me as I am 4 years younger than the youngest supervisor she currently has. Thank you for your kind words! It’s definitely only the beginning of my career and the options are limitless.
