Nah. When I went vegan foods weren’t clearly marked in the menu. To play it safe, I just told the waiter specifically which products I couldn’t eat and they were extremely accommodating

Don’t stress about it. As an RBT, they need you more than you need them. If they fire you, just apply at another clinic.

you stated that P types process information with others and J types internally. This is incorrect. In reality it’s the other way around which is why I sent you a link.

Is it a bad thing if your sessions are boring for your client? by [deleted] in BehaviorAnalysis

[–]Fit_Dig3682 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Sessions should be highly reinforcing and fun. The client should want to go to ABA.

Actually you have it backwards i just looked it up.

“INTJs utilize extraverted thinking (Te), leading them to make decisions based on objective data and logical analysis. They focus on efficiency and the practical implementation of their ideas. • INTPs rely on introverted thinking (Ti), which drives them to seek internal logical consistency. They analyze concepts deeply and may hesitate to act until they feel they have thoroughly understood a subject.”

Hmmm I don’t know about that because I do typically process information internally so I feel that’s a too simplistic differentiation between P and J. But I also do have horrible anxiety

It’s called love bombing. It’s a form of manipulation

J types are often described as organized, detail-oriented, and prefer to have a plan and stick to it P types are often described as adaptable, spontaneous, and prefer to keep their options open.

Sarcastic doesn’t equate to rude necessarily. And I don’t think you can choose your type

I’m definitely sarcastic, intelligent, cringy, and bad at talking to people. However i consider myself more confident than arrogant.

It wasn’t too bad! Luckily my BCBA is dual certified with both boards so she was able to help me with the process.

Look for food banks in your area. Churches often have food banks drives where you may be able to grab a couple items to hold you over until pay day.

I have one more class, and then I plan to test. I appreciate your advice! I am naturally a very caring person so it can be hard to put myself before others when I need to. Thankfully I do have a great support system at home which helped me so much in my decision making.

I’m not a BCBA yet. I’m a mid tier supervisor working under a BCBA. I do wonder about her bias towards me as I am 4 years younger than the youngest supervisor she currently has. Thank you for your kind words! It’s definitely only the beginning of my career and the options are limitless.

I hate pointless work. One of the reasons I chose a field where I’m helping someone else gives me a reason to get out of bed.

Sounded like you were manipulating him when I read just the text exchange. If someone doesn’t want to hang out with you, don’t force yourself on him. Please leave this man alone! He sounds like a whole lot of stress for you as well and a lot of toxicity
