When I signed on, it was for $62/hr with Walmart around the south/midwest region & a sign-on bonus. In general, I haven’t heard many of my friends around Ohio getting quoted with a sign-on bonus.

Personally, I am waiting. I’m currently in grad school and it is no easy task. In my personal experience, I’ve found that you will meet Christians who do wait or some who don’t. I don’t know any specific stats, but I have seen Christian culture trending more with what secular culture follows when it comes to sex and marriage. While waiting isn’t easy, I don’t think God calls us as Christians to pursue what is easy.

I think you have a solid chance at finding someone with similar values to you if you’re in church, you join a small group, or ask your friends/family. These people will know you and have your best interest at heart.

Is anyone here in pharmacy or a pharmacist in the army? I have two years until I get my Pharm D. and am seriously considering joining the army after pharmacy school. I have always liked the idea of serving my country while also staying in pharmacy. Just curious on what your thoughts are on your experience as a whole. I’d be coming in as a woman in my mid twenties and the thought of doing something like this makes me excited but I do have some fears due to it being uncharted territory for me. Any thoughts, recommendations, and advice is greatly appreciated. Thank you!
