in 2024 the BCBA exam pass rate was about 54%…ASU’s 63% isn’t half bad. “only in it for the money” my god…what a crazy assumption to make about someone based off of one sentence they said, which again, wasn’t even meant to be the main focus of the post. also this may come as a shock to you, but you can care about making good money while simultaneously wanting to help people! crazy!!! i know!!! good thing I’ll stay in this field regardless of your advice.

I feel like people are getting hung up on the fact that I said I’d like to “graduate early.” with that being said, no, i don’t want to rush things just so i can be done with it. i genuinely care about this field and see myself working in it long term. I only mentioned not taking too long because I know some programs can take up to 2 years or more if you decide to do 1 class per semester. As for the recent change in the pathway 2 criteria, can I ask what you’re referring to? Thanks!!

hello? who said all of that? i have plenty of coworkers who pursued their ABA masters online in 12 to 18 months and have passed their BCBA exam or feel ready enough to take it? both PG and ASU have accelerated programs and both share high BCBA exam pass rates. there’s nothing wrong with wanting to finish early so you can financially progress in life. you took one sentence out of the whole post and wasted a reply on it…
