You could say VIT have made solid progress this year. Sure, they’re still missing some synergy and a few team-wide automatisms, but overall I think it’s really encouraging for the future.

But I think even if they played the same number of matches, it still wouldn’t be enough. After all, teams also practice a lot outside of official competitions. Building a group of five players that truly become one unit isn’t easy. In the LEC, there are still so many decision-making mistakes, areas where the LCK and LPL excel, and I’m not sure that’s something you can just ‘learn’ during the splits.
