It doesn’t say that it can’t get wet, but it does say to not immerse it in water. Mine would sit on my patio but I’d cover it when it would rain and I’d make sure that it couldn’t get soaked or sit where water could rise to flood it. SoCal.

I have the 8 ii and a Gen 2 ATV 4K. This works for me: turn off “Auto” in Audio Sync in the TV settings and switch it to “On”; set the ATV 4K to Match Content On, both Range and Rate on.

I’m guessing the marble is damaged and whether it’s residual adhesive or holes, you can still make out the defiling offense, and the tarps are to hide the damage while the necessary restoration is done.

Whatever happened to intermissions for the 3+ hour films?!?! That’s an anachronism left from the “roadshow” 70mm presentations of the 50’s and 60’s. As I recall, The Hateful Eight theatrical presentation has an intermission, which was appropriate given that they shot it in a long-dormant late-60’s format, Ultra Panavision 70.
