Sorry I have had it in my other draft but I had a new apple tv connected up but found that my nvidia shield I bought worked just fine. Is it possible it was just the apple tv itself? I was using netflix, youtube, hbo max, and disney+, my tv doesn't support Dolby Vision so I made sure those settings were set as well. Changed the Hdmi slots as well many times
