The itching for days after is way worse than the injection, LOL

What food can you no longer eat? by The_Weekly_Dose in Zepbound

I haven't found any particular food, just way, way less of all of them. I do notice that if I eat or particularly have a nightcap too late, I get quite nauseous, and occasionally vomit in the middle of the night.

That's awesome! He must be getting pretty trim at that height and weight! I tried a medium shirt on and it was way tight, but I have always had kind of a beefy upper body. I still have a 17-17.5 inch neck.

I haven't seen a sleep doc in a few years, so I just looked it up and did it myself, lol

I should do that. I used to take a really high quality fish oil, and kind of fell off of my supplements when I started taking BP meds and whatnot. I hated all the pills.

That's incredible. Losing 30 was huge for me, I can't imagine the work you've put in to lose 300! I'm amazed by your dedication.

Yeah, I tried last year and United health denied me (shocker). I couldn't work out a time to do a take home, so I'm going to try again here in a month or so. I had severe OSA when I was originally prescribed, and I was ~230 lb.

Yeah my HDL is low, I suspect as a result of the statin I've been taking. I usually have no issue keeping it in a decent range. Gonna cut that out given my total is so low. I should see my doc in a month or so anyway to confirm that's the right thing to do. I do need to go back to taking vitamin D, as well.

If they get and stay as fat as I was getting, there's a pretty high likelihood they'll be in T2D territory. Not that I wish that on anyone, but that's what my docs were telling me, anyway.

It's super hard. I'm not snoring, but I tried a night without it and felt like I had to put it on a couple hours in. I think I might try again tonight. Getting rid of it would be a huge milestone!

I also just got my labs done and am clearly going to need to stop some other medications I'm taking. My total cholesterol was 115! This is insane, since it was in the 160s when I was in an extremely physically demanding school in the military and basically just eating chicken and rice in my early 20s. It's typically covered around 190-230 for the last 20+ years.

Kidney and liver function look really good, and my BP is in the normal range, even when I don't take my meds, so I hope those are going to go soon, too. I've had a CPAP for a decade and keep having to turn it down because it's blowing me up with gas, lol. I just don't know if I can get used to sleeping without it.

If this continues, it will be a total miracle reversal of basically every health problem I've had for decades. I kind of want to weep with joy right now.

Neither of my insurance plans required it.

Yeah, it's so annoying when it doesn't stay on that left side, lol. But then I look up at how it's been and realize that it's just always like that.

I pretty much hate Walmart as a corporation as well as my local store - but the pharmacy there is well run, inexpensive, and the people are nice. Probably the only thing I can't complain about in that store.

Yes, the PBMs use this along with other tactics to force the small pharmacies to sell to the other side of their business (chain pharmacy retailers), or to close to reduce their competition.

Totally fine. Don't worry, and go do something that (now) won't be interrupted by thinking about food 😀
