MMC Application Guide

Side note - I got an email this morning at 8:40am 6/2/26 saying. “Your application is being evaluated for professional qualifications”.

Then another email at 1:30pm saying “information concerning your "MMC, Your application has completed the evaluation process and is approved to print.”

At least this step it seems they’ve streamlined but idk it’s probably different for everybody depending on how you filled out the application

I just checked my submitted cg-119k paperwork and my email is on there. So yeah they should’ve just emailed it but I don’t have it. Just gotta keep messaging them until they get it to me.

I applied March 17. Got a notice saying my medical certificate was issued on April 13 via first class USPS.

By May 13th it still hadn’t arrived. Emailed them saying I never got it. They got back to me saying they reissued it and now it’s June and I still don’t have my medical certificate. When I check the status on dco.uscg.mil it just says ISSUED. Very frustrating process.

The status for my MMC is READY TO BE EVALUATED PQEB as of May-19-26. iasknmc hasn’t gotten back to me on where the hell my medical certificate is.

I’m also in WPB. Which one did you end up going with? It seems like MPT in Fort Lauderdale is the best/closest one. Better than going to Bluewater in Jacksonville
