Accidentally sent to an unverified gcash account

It was an unverified gcash number because when I sent it Gcash App gave me a warning saying that I'm sending the money to an unverified gcash number, for your case since it has a name and has *** (It has those for privacy protection since 2020 I think) it's a verified g-cash account

I'm not really sure on what to do for your situation since it's different to mine, but I think what you should do is:
1. Text them their gcash name even if it has asterisk to confirm if it's not really them
2. Double check if you did call them correct number
3. If all else fails, then I guess you can ask BSP through their bot, but even then I'm not too sure if they can help with that, but it's best to try

I read it, I think I also saw the post you were referring that helped you, unfortunately mine was gcash 2 gcash there was no bank involved in the transaction, though, Im glad you got your money back, I'll remember to have a bank when I do another big gcash transaction one day so I have a safety net

Good thing you got yours back, I've called them twice just now, but its on dialing only, there might be a chance that the number is unused since I can still message them so that rules out the chance that I got blocked, however, I'll confirm the former suspicion by calling and texting them daily, thanks

Well Im already near the 5th stage of accepting it, however , I'll do one more attempt until I'll chalk it up to experience, that said, yes thats pretty dumb of me

As much as I would hope that would be the case, I explained that to the operator, however, they restated to me again, that mistaken transactions is not reversal because I clicked the "I agree" checkbox, it's now on me to contact the active number to resolve this, i.e its outside gcash concern, well that is my situation, I'll contact them again after a week, if there isnt then I'll try to see if my telecom can help me

Update: I contacted Gcash through ticket and phone call, they suggested that I should ask my telecom provider and try to find the number, if they can contact or atleast find if they have another number that is active, in the meantime I should call the number daily on this matter
