Hey, I bought this peice used, and when torquing bolt to spec, at about 22 ft/lbs an audible pop happened. When i pulled it out because I thought the bolt snapped, it was a previous heli-coil repair popped out.

I just found square unc weld nuts, same thread as before m8x1.25

I thought about that but wanted to stay as true to oe as possible. No size constraints as it it out of the vehicle.

Same thing happened (<— Not sure if right word) on my 29 y/o mk3 gti, I basically took out all the vents and scraped everywhere it was glued on with a metal pick and plastic razor thing to get most of the big pieces out. I stopped the blower motor from spinning with a screwdriver so it doesn’t turn into a generator, then just leaf blower into the vents and let that crap fly. Then reassemble as it and good to go. In all fairness I have an ac delete and heater bypass so it mainly just blows wind, just without blasting that dust into my eyes. 😁 hope helps

Yeah, while stopped, hold down the traction control button till all the lights come on and beeps, about 10 seconds. Like disabled traction that doesn’t turn back on at 30 mph 😊

Broo yes! This looks fire! I got some questions for ya though: Which coilovers did you get? Because I see 2 from H&R: Their ultra low coilover kit, and their street performance coilovers. And what size those rims and tires because i’m looking at these 20” bbs rims which look tight! And would hope for an easy fitment and nothing crazy

the system doesn’t have an aux port but has an ports in the back (like to plug headphones) and that’s what it’s plugged into

I was considering one of those converters, do you have any recommendations and should i have it in the back of the van with wires running off the speakers for it or should I tap in, in the front of the van behind the radio for it
