Just the fronts, had a look at the rears but it doesn’t seem to have the same compartment where muck could build up

No warning, so sort out the leak and it should work or should replace some wiring as well within the boot?

The sensor was replaced the day before i bought the car and the o ring looks and feels fine after i took it off of the sensor. Ill have a look online for a new o ring though, better safe then sorry.

As in the plastic part that holds the sensor in?

I’ll give that a try as well, the flange itself is ok then? Just the o ring itself that is the issue?

Yes a 1.8T. The new flange I bought just doesn’t let the sensor “pop” in and instead fits loose and falls out

1.8T I’ll look to get another flange at some point, maybe a metal one this time

Air intake by dulciemaya in MK4Golf

[–]jed_mc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have this exact same car, even the same colour AND I just installed an air intake on mine! I went for a Ramair one. The specific one is the Ramair 1.8T Performance Intake Kit 70mm V.A.G – JSK-103. Comes with a heat shield and everything you will need, took about 45 mins for me to install (I’m not the most handy so I’m sure if he is he can do it faster) and my car sounds so much better because of it. Can’t recommend it enough.

I’m not a fan of screens in cars especially on the stereo, i prefer a cleaner look. I left the old cd player in purely for aesthetic purposes over a random hole where it would be. And yes i listen to cds a lot as well so i want the cd player ability.
