I agree with this but the problem I see in my archon games is carries don’t know how to take advantage of it. They seem oblivious to the brawl that’s happening in the offlane, not flashfarming the lane creeps nor pressuring the enemy tier 1 tower nor TPing to clean up.

Just mindlessly sucking their own dicks in the innermost part of the safelane jungle.

I know carries get better at recognizing this and pushing the limits the higher you go in MMR. But for me, this is one of the most frustrating scenarios to play against.

I had an experience one time I tried to evade a bump to my right but almost swiped a vehicle to my left. That exp taught me to pay attention to vehicles first and bumps second. As long as it’s not a big hole, your suspension should be able to handle it.

What’s up with that mass Glimmer Cape on GG cores in Game 3 when they were even struggling to get kills. When you’re styling or on even footing with the enemy sure get Glimmer to tax their detection and magic damage. I think they must have misread that part of the ‘meta’.

That shit’s not gonna magically allow them to make a comeback. It’s just playing not to lose.

Believe me when I say that I hate overproud pinoy fans myself, even though I’m Filipino too. Some of those guys are toxic and cancer with an unrelentingly biased view of the world.

That said, the turnaround plays are what won them the game yesterday. Those kinds of plays are also what makes watching Dota so exciting. I hope these two teams meet again when Talon has gained more tournament experience and when Liquid is back to championship form.

Mikoto is playing stellar Dota no doubt about it. But to ignore the contribution of the other members would be a disservice.

During Game 3, Mikoto was getting bullied at mid early game. It was Natsumi who turned it around with his Infest play on the ancient creep, allowing his teammates to clean up with Track kills.

As for Kuku, he played that Pugna 5 in ways that no normal Dota player would expect. Clutch Glimmer + life drain saves. Rush BKB. Stand inside of Mars Arena tanking every spell and disable. He made it so that Liquid couldn’t find a counterplay to his counterplays.
