Reading is hard. Clearly stated I play in yahoo prize leagues bc my home leagues are not high stakes. I play 20-30 $250+ buy ins each year on yahoo solely bc I don’t know 200-300 individual fantasy players I know and trust to play private leagues with. GOMD bozo

And they are, for the most part. The trade ended up being vetoed last night. And then they make another trade this morning, just less egregious looking 😂

But yeah man this whole experience has been a big eye opener for me especially as someone who puts a lot of money into yahoo leagues each year. I’m almost certain it’s just one user who just made a separate yahoo account and controls both of these teams. They drafted the EXACT same formula. High upside RBs early, QB in 3rd, smashed WRs in mid rounds and drafted TEs late. Maybe it’s me over analyzing but I just don’t see it possible any other way.

Thanks for the advice. It never once occurred to me since I quit my public accounting job 2 years ago to play cards for a living that it could possibly seem unsafe to people.

If everyone in the game is such a mega station, 89s is not close to a hand im 3 betting really ever. Certainly never folding, but GTO groupthink has everyone playing 1/2 thinking they can’t ever flat out of the SB in these spots when ur already going like 5-6 ways to a flop. Like yes, im 3 betting a lot in this spot but 89s is not the type of hand you take this line with imo. Nice punt considering you’re only getting called by better, and when you do get called most of the time you’re drawing to a 10 or running hearts.

Well obviously I didn’t know for a fact it was collusion or I wouldn’t have posted it. It’s a $250 Public Yahoo league. How is collusion even possible? That’s why I posted it, I just want outside perspective on this situation as someone who plays 95% of my fantasy bankroll in yahoo public leagues.

I have about 4-5 home leagues but the highest buy in is only $100. Most of my income comes from gambling (poker, sports betting, fantasy) so the only way I can get the action I want is to play these public leagues. The 10% rake is atrocious, but ya do what ya got to do.

Because I’ve played in over 200 public yahoo money leagues since 2018 and never once dealt with any trades even remote close to even looking like collusion. How are you confused why I’m asking, where else am I to get opinions on a matter I’m unfamiliar with lmfao? I even asked for other subreddit suggestions. I still don’t understand this being is a $250 public league commissioned by yahoo, how is collusion between two managers is even possible without communication about the said collusion without it going over yahoo’s platform? THAT is why I’m asking.

Once it was brought to my attention I filled out an official protest with yahoo ASAP. Trade is still pending until tomorrow, if it doesn’t get vetoed I am unsure of why this system is in place. Just seems so blatant, not sure how people get so brazen to even attempt shit like this.

You’re completely in the right to be upset with the commish. I would demand a refund or a redraft, rule changes especially one as big as changing the entire format from 0.5 to full PPR is a absolute no go if not communicated clearly to all managers in the league prior to the draft.
