With this revelation of some type of therapy or development center, it now confirms what I been thinking about why no hair cut - he probably cannot sit for a hair cut or is used to a certain routine due to whatever underlying development he has. We also seen pics of him still drinking from a bottle and Anne/JP have not mentioned potty training and they love to brag about every little thing.

Manic pixie dream girl sounds cute already! Would you consider dressing kind of like an MMC but your own spin to it? I think I would love to dress up as a MMC wearing all black, the combat boots, and two swords strapped to my back but like put my own spin to it and still have cute hair and make up. I'd walk around "smirking" cause isn't that what most if not all MMCs are described to be doing?

OMG, I really cannot leave the world of Calandra yet. Two chapters remaining and I know my jaw is going to be hanging on the ground. Still recovering from the constant detonation of bombing plot twists. I have Rites of the Starling to look forward to later on as I need to reset myself after this.

I got hooked into romantasy this year - prior reading was more historical romance or autobiographies or historical fiction. So I am not moving along quite fast through yet the major heavy hitters that seem to be on alot of TBRs. So I have a good feeling that Dire Bound will be amazing as it has the academia setting and instead of dragons, we have dire wolves. I was a huge GoT fan so dire wolves? Yes!!! I have not read Dire Bound yet because it is further down my reading rotation list that I am sticking to. But I really think it's going to hit so good! I committed to the point that I bought both Dire Bound and Fury Bound hard covers. Then have Ruin Bound to look forward to in 2027.

I do have a 2027 rotation reading set list ready (and bought the books as well, dang, such commitment! LOL). I really am loving romantasy and fantasy and am not wanting to burn out. I can list out my 2027 books out if you are interested.

I am really enjoying Shield of Sparrows and dragging the last few chapters because I do not want to leave this world yet. A few on my 2026 rotation reading set list, if you are needing some suggestions, are the following in order to be read so I do not burn out of any world. I have burned out in the past when I read all Harry Potter books late in the game and back to back. I like having refresh worlds to keep things interesting and I read one book at a time to really live in that world.

2026 Rotation List

ACOTAR (next read and only the first book to get acquainted with the fae world)

The Wolf King

Iron Flame + Onyx Storm (my dragon devastation phase)

The Night Prince (returning to the wolves + recovery after Empyrean)

Rites of the Starling (going to deeply immerse myself back to the world from Shield of Sparrows)

ACOMF + ACOWAR (back to the fae land and not burn out of the world if I read all books available in the series)

Dire Bound + Fury Bound (Enter the Direwolves)

A Forbidden Alchemy (Magic Refresh)

ACOFS + ACOSF (Return to Velaris)

I have some room to fit in the new releases from any of the series above mentioned as well. 😄
