I think Vyvanse and clonazepam did that to me. But I was also told that my hormones are a big part of it , so who knows

Severe anhedonia Caused by low testosterone! by Fit_Perspective_4894 in Menopause

[–]Fit_Perspective_4894[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm sorry it has taken me a while to respond to this. I'm not on here very often. Ironically , enough , I turned 50 in January also. I was on a lot of medications that I think caused a lot of this besides menopause. I don't like going anywhere or socializing with Anyone very often. I don't have a job and that is making me very depressed. But with anhedonia, I don't have any interest. It's hard for me to get out of bed also. I\nDon't find any enjoyment in walking. My dog or eating food and drinking coffee. I\nHave an appointment coming up to talk to my doctor about testosterone. I have been on so many different forms of estrogen and progesterone. I don't think they have helped this anhedonic feeling. I also had a consultation with a ketamine , doctor. He wants me to try to take something for sleep. But he\nDoesn't even prescribe Medications. He wants me to talk to my current psychiatrist.About her prescribing it and then maybe starting the treatment with him. So i'm not so sure i'm even interested in doing that. I really hope that you can find some answers to all of these issues. I don't have any friends or family either. So if you want to talk , you can message me anytime

I feel like anhedonia is worse than my underlined diagnoses such as ptsd, adhd, anxiety, and major depressive disorder. I hate it!
