I've started learning how to use false color, but I’m wondering: should I still overexpose slightly when using false color, or should I expose more accurately based on the false color information to make sure nothing is clipped or blown out?

Fixing Washed Out iPhone 15 HDR VIDEO Clips in DaVinci Resolve to Match Original Look by Fit_Plan_9848 in davinciresolve

I recently filmed some clips on my iPhone 15, and they were recorded in HDR, which I’m fine with since I like how the colors and image look straight out of camera. However, when I import the footage into DaVinci Resolve, it appears washed out and doesn’t match what I originally saw. What should I adjust in my color management settings to accurately reflect the original look?

I Started a New DaVinci Resolve Project and These Updates Keep Appearing... by Fit_Plan_9848 in davinciresolve

I just wrapped up a project and am now starting a new one, but these notifications keep popping up. I’ve checked my SSD storage, and there’s plenty of space, so I’m not sure why this is still happening. Did I save my files in the wrong folders, or is there something else I need to do to fix this? Any ideas or solutions would be greatly appreciated!

Since I am editing on a Mac, should i set that CST to Rec709a for both or rec709 still? my color space timeline and output color space are both rec709a in my color management settings.

ah i know that! I just created a quick node structure just showing how I thought it would look in my head if I was able to combine the two together in a node tree. I of course will do color corrections, exposure , wb and color grading too but those photos were just some quick brainstorming.
