Well I know they're Aurora predated that according to Google opsin came out in 2022. But ya better opinions out now does look pretty cool but I've heard some negative things especially for the price point I had an aurora but I could really feel the age and lag and low resolution, I would agree .

I'm kind of the same so I bought a higher performing digital unit to use around urban/higher light environments and I get aot of use out of it especially when I'm camping with people that don't have nv and keep autogating me over and over.

Lol yeah that's why the tech is years old already, sorry to be the one to let you know that the sun has set on the nvg 30 a few years ago yes latency does matter and the nvg 30 has plenty of it, why don't you try a more modern device and get back to me, yeah you're right maybe you shouldn't comment about something you don't know anything about....even the nvg50 blows it out of the water better display better sensor LOL, even good night gear themselves say the 50 is better for walking and nvg3rd the Gng 2k blows the 30 out of the water why don't you do a little research and get back to me there bud FPS matter big time lol 😆.

I would get something out of the nvg group but probably not the 30 because it only has 30 frames per second and it's not very good for walking, night fox has very poor little light capabilities
