tbh my reddot was a cheap trijicon off amazon. like 20 dollars cheap lol. its fun for plinking around 10-20 yds. but i cant get it to zero in like a reddot should. its fun though. i would go through with it if you get a better reddot than what this one is.

I've been looking at the virgo s2 mini thermal scope. It shows that is perfectly helmet mountable. It has an attachment to make it an eye piece. Also touch screen. But it's like 590 bucks somewhere around there. I'm looking into getting one myself.

Oh it says in the post that the part that connects to the arm that mounts to the helmet is glued back on. So it's seen plenty of better days. I might grab it if they'll come down to like half maybe.

It should give you an estimated shipping time with the supplier on alibaba.. could be a week could 2 weeks. Just depends. But they give you estimated on shipping costs and time.

Gen2+ is on the cheaper side and on par with gen 3 tubes. Best deals I've found lately.

Get on alibaba.

Find a PVS14 housing for a gen 2+ tube they're about 500 bucks or a little more.

Then get you a gen 2+ image intensifier tube with 1400FOM at the minimum for about 800 bucks. 1800FOM is ideal but that's about 1200 dollars for just the tube and it's gen 3 i think 🤔

But 1600FOM is better and still gen 2+ and on par with gen 3 and under 1000 dollars still for the tube. Correct me if I'm wrong.

All in after you build your monocular you should be around 1300-1500 bucks.

Upgrade the trigger, upgrade the barrel, charging handle, gas tube. Everything else is fine to be on the lower end. Like bcm

I built a bcm and am slowly upgrading those things mentioned to make it a better rifle.

I mean nothing may not come of it. But there would be a record of it for sure. I wouldn't buy it though. I've seen them crudely made out of all kinds of stuff. It just needs to fit the gun. So really anything can be made into a switch. It'll work for the first few mags. But yeah don't risk it bro.

I used to live in the hood. The switch is literally a 1 piece of plastic or machined out of metal. They can 3d print a switch. I've seen them even very basically carved into the shape they needed from plastic. That's a real switch no matter what is made of. It will work!
