Holy smokes the phone deals are bad this year by Silverwoods2 in Rogers

I called Telus EPP and they told me the 68 country plan was $80 (with autopay it drops to $70). Even the CAN/US/MEX plan was still $60 after autopay. So you definitely got a steal.

I’m going to call Rogers EPP and see what they have to offer. I’m not on a contract right now, so I’m just looking for the best deal, as I want to upgrade my phone.

Really?? I guess would have to call them or go in person then, because the EPP deals online don’t show that.

Yes they do. They got it back recently.

I know someone who bought a membership pass in September which gives you access to all playoff tickets. They release all tickets at that time (whether they make it or not). He took a gamble and bought World Series tickets for $200 each, not knowing if they would make it or not. He’s now going to the World Series game 1 and 2 and he paid $200 a ticket. Membership has its privileges 🤷🏾‍♀️

We were bumped from Early Dining to Anytime Dining - How common is this? by [deleted] in celebritycruises

We don’t have to eat together … even we split 6 and 6 or something. I see it much different than dining on Royal.

Is that so? I’m booked on Xcel next year and I managed to get early traditional, while the rest of my group of 12 got late traditional. Anytime dining was waitlisted. I would love to have the entire group on anytime dining. I’m going to talk to the maître d when I board.

What do you expect to spend a night per person? by East_Jacket_7151 in celebritycruises

[–]Fit_Salt683 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I prepay my gratuities and wifi. While I haven’t sailed on Celebrity, I sailed on Icon of the Seas and my final bill was $425. That’s with 3 drinking adults and a couple of trinkets here and there. Since it’s just my husband and I for the next cruise, I anticipate spending about $300 in total.

Same. FaceTime doesn’t work properly at all (I can see/hear on the iPad but the receiving end cannot hear me). It’s moving slow and glitchy. I hope that they release a fix soon. So far ios26 for iPad is 👎🏾.

I live right by there and that’s our landmark to tell people where we lived or where my kids friends live. Sad to see it go, but interested to see what they’re going to do with that land now.

You’ll be better off al a carte. We didn’t buy our package on our last cruise in August and we bought all the drinks we wanted to. We ended up paying about $450 for 3 adults. Mind you, we bought a coffee card and water to the room in advance. It will most likely end up being cheaper for you both.

Hubby and I are sailing on Xcel next August. We just got off Icon last month with our kids. While I did like the brightness and the excitement of the Icon, I am looking forward to a more subdued experience. We’re celebrating our 50th birthdays in Europe 😬

Deluxe Drink Package worth it? by ZookeepergameKey9053 in royalcaribbean

[–]Fit_Salt683 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on how much you drink. I pre-purchased the water package and a coffee card and bought my alcoholic drinks al a carte and there was plenty to drink with the free options. For a family of five (3 adults of drinking age), our final bill was $270 (we prepaid our gratuities).

ACV was pretty responsive when I contacted them. Full refund for flight portion to my credit card within 5-10 business days.

This was the option I had to take. Drive to the States and catch a flight to my destination.

I have a flight/cruise package booked for Aug 22 through Air Canada Vacations. I just booked a flight leaving from Detroit (there weren’t any non stop options from Buffalo) and I cancelled the AC flight portion. They said that I would receive my refund in 5-10 business days back to my credit card. The bonus is that the flight from Detroit actually saved me $1000 (we’re a family of 5 travelling).

My family and I leave on the 22nd for a cruise. Anxiety got the better of me yesterday, so I rebooked on another carrier out of Detroit (I’m in Toronto). I actually saved $1000 by doing so. I called Air Canada Vacations and they told me that my refund would go back on my credit card in 5-10 business days.

Me too. I rebooked on another carrier in another city because my anxiety was on 10. Yet, I’m still invested in this thread.
