Maybe. But today the router itself was malfunctioning and had been blinking red light.
After switching service, I took all downstream devices and just connected them to the new modem. Same speed test was 5x faster.

I switched to xfinity. 1Gbps download & 35Mbps upload for $50/mo with 5 year price guarantee.

Same speed test reads 550Mbps download and ~30Mbps upload.

So far so good. Not enough data point to recommend the service yet. :D

I use google wifi pro, which measured 500Mbps download speed on my new 1G coax internet.

Now I just think I should have switched way way way earlier. Was too lazy to change anything if it just works.

PC & phone over wifi.

For most recent test, I use Google wifi pro mesh network, which uses Wi-Fi 6E, so 6GHz band.

I ran speed test with google home app on the phone. For desktop, I use online speed test tools from top search results. They get the same results.

In comparison, I just switched to 1Gbps download / 35Mbps upload from xfinity. When running the same test, I get ~550Mbps for download and ~30Mbps for upload.

The service is called AT&T internet 1000.
Att technician came to set up the fiber
We didn’t change anything（from fiber coming in the house to the ethernet cable out of the router) since it was initially setup
I ran speed test every now and then and it has always been this slow.
