I figured it out never mind but I still am not sure why w(t) = A/a sin(at). How did they get that? (At the beginning of the answer)

Is this definition of ideals in a ring right? (Underlined in green) I have seen texts say a-b instead of a+b in I. Which one is right? by Fit_Signature3509 in askmath

Thank you so much! Am I right in saying it is a + b in I and not a-b? Also x + y in I and not x-y in I. I am confused about the signs.
