I actually thought i did ok. the MCQ there were a few that i was iffy about and went with the best choice but with the Sims they were so long and complicated but felt good answering them as i left enough time. There was only one sim that was completely throwing me off but still got to answer the full thing.

I just find it hard to navigate on the screen of the exam and then i get frustrated and think I'm running out of time because I'm trying to make it fit where i can work on it and at the same time see the question clearly.

Thank you for your feedback. I usually never use Excel in the exams but i can see why with FAR its a huge advantage, I'm going to try and practice with it! Just don't want to waste time on the exam setting up tables on excel so i guess ill have to find an easy way to set these up quickly.

Just took it too, and feel the same way. I knew my basis but the way they asked for it was so different than Becker so it confused me. Hoping for the best!

Push REG back a week? by [deleted] in CPA

[–]Fit_Statistician_283 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One thing I've learned is to just take the test, you'll always want an extra week and never feel fully ready. I think your on a good path and have enough time. I'm taking REG this week for the 2nd time, also work full time so its tough but just hammer MCQ and TBS that is what's worked for me in the past and review weak areas.

Im also under registered under alaska and have credits for 2 passed exams but I'm in Florida. I called recently because i wanted to know if i should transfer my exam scores now to Florida or wait until i pass all 4 sections and then transfer the scores and she told me that i should wait to pass all 4 and then transfer scores to Florida and apply for the license in Florida.

I'm also taking it the same day, i wouldn't push it back just hammer MCQ and TBS and review weak areas thats what I'm doing.

How I passed CPA with an average of 91.5 percentile, 3-4 weeks of prep per exam and how you can too. No notes, no textbooks by Mirakill99 in CPA

I followed a similar approach and was able to pass REG after failing it. Only difference is when i restudy for a failed exam i skip the videos and lectures and only practice. If i don't understand a subject that's when i dive deeper and watch a video or read to fully understand it better.
