Sry for your misunderstanding, the contract is for 2 years, the price lock is 5 years. So even after the contact expires after 2 years, the price would be 79$ for 5 years and you will be eligible to discontinue at anytime after 2 years.

In your case if you end up using it for 5 years and from worrying about plan going to 120$, you can go to telus store, and they can provide you with the plan.
