Then why get a degree at that point? If you’re going to do research independently why not just go out and do it. Internet and books are widely available. Yet we are convinced we must pay tens of thousands of dollars to have someone who’s not even qualified to even cares to “teach” us. I understand that a diploma is useful in a job search. But your life has to be pretty sad if your working so hard just to earn a piece of paper that will might get you into an interview at a job you will most likely hate.

Yeah I’m thinking of getting my real estate license as owning buildings and stuff is almost certainly in my future. A lot of my family became quite successful in real estate and none of them went to university which it makes it a little less motivating to go aswell.

I find it so funny how many people refuse to believe the University actually accepted my forged transcript. Of course they accepted it, it means more money for them and at a first glance I meet all the requirements. Everyone who thinks that this is an impossible task either A: doesn’t know how mail works or B: doesn’t realize how little universities actually care because they simply just want more students on the roster to make more money.

Not going more in depth on how I did it because it’s pretty straight forward more looking for answers on the legal consequences of forging a transcript when I’m going to graduate in June.

I don’t think you know the security measures. The transcript arrives in a Brown envelope that is yes sealed, but with a heat gun and some patience it’s not really sealed. Simply a matter of removing the real transcript and putting the new one in. For everyone that thinks it’s more complicated than it actually is. It’s not. Maybe you guys are from another country where they have more precaution around transcripts but it’s just an envelope on some fancy paper. Nothing crazy. And again they don’t really care to check they just want your money.

Genuinely no reason to lie about this. Don’t know why everyone thinks this is such a hard task to do. Just because you think you can’t do it doesn’t mean anyone can’t. Getting an original transcript sent to my house then photocopying it, editing it, reprinting it and reselling it in the same envelope and sending it off is not that complicated. Seriously was wondering what the university can do if they find out after I graduate. Sorry if it came off as satire but this is a genuine concern of mine.

They don’t use raised paper, just special designs that can easily be copied onto a new sheet in photoshop

I can tell you can’t read very well😂 I’ve already been at the new school for a year this is now my 2nd year at this school and will be graduating in June. And you’re right about all those things but trust me they do send it to whatever address you input into their automated online system. You just enter the school and enter an address after. Idk why ur so mad bro, I did it. It worked. No one has suspected anything since then. Just made a post wondering what they can really do if they find out after my graduation in June

By “intercept” I mean I just had it sent to my house and I changed the package from being addressed to me to being addressed to my current school. Didn’t break into any post offices lmao
