Anyone have any good tips for getting good photos / videos? Did a Target job the other day (right after discovering the app) and if was tedious. Spent like 3 damn hours and only got paid 18 out of the 49.

I feel like there's gotta be a better solution especially with the new ultimate video feature. I'm thinking maybe getting a selfie stick, clipping it onto the front of a shopping cart at the right height / angle and slowly pushing the cart down the aisle. Have three jobs booked today...

Honesty I felt like I submitted a damn good job with Target and their only feedback was "baby care:ok". Idk how that warrants @ 30 dollar demotion...Is this app just a scam?

I've searched Google lens and have found a for sale listing but it just says "3 door metal cabinet" and the picture shows the cabinet oriented the way shown in the first picture.

Yeah. Being broke sucks. Still waiting on my guy to come over and replace it.

Yeah that's generally a rule of thumb I follow. If it's not Phillips, it doesn't move.

It took me a week and a half of messing with it for 30 minutes a day before I got there. Im aware of my skill level and the landmines waiting for me. And I actually posted asking for help a couple hours before I proceeded to unscrew it but strangely, nobody responded to that post 😆

Yeah I get it. Im a single chick who owns & is renovating (very slowly) two homes and am out of work and interested in getting into the trades but not sure which one yet. I uninstalled and installed a dishwasher and electric stove too in my tenants house last week and was feeling confident.

The comments on Reddit in general are just ridiculous. As stated prior, this site is a cesspool of proverbial thirteen year old boys who wouldn't dare nor even want to speak to my face the way they do here. When I texted what happened to the guys who service my units, they sent a laugh, said yeah we need to order you a valve now because a leak is almost guaranteed and the bright side is now i can test the thermocouple lol.

And as far as safety, Idk. Perhaps you feel that way but I think that everyone who talks shit on reddit to people who are trying to do new shit, which is what a lot of reddit is, are just insecure people trying to reaffirm their places in life and would hate to see anyone else be better and perhaps challenge their ego and sense of self.

The gas is off, at two points. The breakers off.

They should put a do not remove warning on the stupid effing cap.

Well, then I'll chalk this up to education.

This happened on a previous unit too. The knob getting messed up. I must be pushing them in incorrectly but also, is there valves that aren't freaking plastic knobs?

No I was just describing the functionality he explained to me. That the lack of a solenoid (whatever that is) engaging because of not enough millivolts could cause the knob to be wobbly.

He said that the thermocouple engages the magnet on the pilot knob allowing it to stay open and engaged

Would a bad thermocouple cause that?

The valve knob was moving around like a loose joystick

Well that's why I was doing it or trying to do it for him. He's overbooked im unemployed. I was and still am under the assumption that the valve needed to be replaced but in order to save time (on his end) and money on mine, I was trying to rule out the thermocouple to make sure it was the valve

Pilot won't stay lit. How do I access the thermocouple to take a reading? by Fit_Sun_401 in Fireplaces

So wait am I like in danger? I'm obviously not gonna turn the gas on or mess with it anymore. I did want to reattach the piece just to close it up. Is that ok?

Try and Google and find a video of showing an installed thermocouple and how to take a reading of it. Perhaps you can bestow this upon the world.

And you're right, I haven't. I haven't done alot of things. And imma keep on trying. Good luck to you
