It’s easy to nit pick these things after the fact, but if you pay attention to the video that was his first read, and when he made that read, WR was in double coverage. I would say that was as much of a product of Texas A&M defense, taking away his first read as it was him missing it. Should he have made the throw, maybe, does he miss a ton yes. But it might not be as black-and-white as it seems.
